Meet Chef Dane Higgins
As corporate executive chef for Kraft Heinz Foodservice, Dane Higgins brings his passion for culinary to life through creative, menu-ready solutions. “The best part of my job is tailoring recipes and product usage ideas that can really help our customers execute delicious food while turning a profit,” he says. Staying on top of sustaining and emerging food trends, Chef Higgins creates crowd-pleasing, flavour-focused dishes. And of course, his familiarity with the Kraft Heinz portfolio makes his ability to come up with on-trend uses of kitchen staples second to none.
Before joining the Kraft Heinz family, Chef Higgins led the culinary team at Shoeless Joe's Sports Grill, overseeing menu development for its 33 locations. He’s also served as corporate chef at Cineplex Entertainment, bringing flavour innovation to 162 theatres nationwide, as well as associate corporate chef at The Pickle Barrel.
Chef Higgins honed his craft at some of Canada’s most prominent restaurants and hotels, including the Chateau Lake Louise, in Lake Louise, Alberta, the Royal York Hotel, Hank’s and the Jamie Kennedy Wine Bar, all in Toronto.
