kale, stems and ribs removed, thinly sliced, packed 4.5 oz. [130 g] 1-1/2 qt. [1.5 L]
beets, peeled, cut into matchsticks 7.5 oz. [215 g] 2-1/2 cups [625 mL]
red onions, slivered 1.5 oz. [45 g] 1/3 cup [75 mL]
hazelnuts, toasted, chopped 1.75 oz. [50 g] 1/2 cup [125 mL]

Directions

Mix orange zest, juice, mustard and dressing until well blended.

Toss oranges, kale, beets and onions in large bowl. Add dressing mixture; mix lightly. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.

Sprinkle salad with nuts just before serving.

Chef's Tip
You will need 8 oranges to prepare this recipe (or 2 oranges for trial recipe). Zest oranges first. Remove remaining peel and pith from oranges and discard. Segment oranges over a bowl to catch juice needed for recipe.
Variations
Prepare using Kraft Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing and/or chopped toasted almonds or pecans.
Substitute
Substitute 3 to 4 tangerines, mandarins or clementines for the 2 navel oranges needed for the trial recipe.
