onions, thinly sliced 4 oz. [115 g] 1/2 cup [125 mL]
boneless beef rib-eye steaks (6 oz./170 g each), thinly sliced 6 oz. [170 g] 1 each
steak sauce 2 fl oz [60 g] 1/4 cup [50 mL]
frozen steak fries 8 oz. [225 g]
Cheez Whiz Cheese Spread 2 oz. [60 g] 1/4 cup [50 mL]

Directions

Melt butter in saute pan on low heat. Add onions; cook 12 to 15 min. or until golden brown, stirring occasionally.

Meanwhile, cook meat in separate saute pan on medium-high heat 2 min. or until done, stirring frequently; place in bowl. Add steak sauce; toss to coat. Meanwhile, deep fry steak fries as directed on package; drain.

For each 2 serving portion: Plate 5 oz. (140 g) meat; top with 8 oz. (225 g) steak fries and 4 oz. (115 g) onions. Drizzle with 1/4 cup (50 mL) Cheez Whiz.

Substitute frozen breaded onion rings for the sauteed sliced onions. Cook as directed on package before using as directed.
