On October 16 2020, Kraft Heinz launched Pantry Day, a day that saw over $4 Million worth of Kraft Heinz product donated to Food Banks Canada. This year, Kraft Heinz Foodservice joins the fight against food insecurity, and is partnering with restaurants across the country on this special one-day nationwide food drive.
On October 16, Kraft Heinz Foodservice will donate $10 value of product for each purchase of a particular menu item at participating restaurants, including Big Smoke Burger, Firkin Pubs, Wild Wing, Fatburger and Sunset Grill—all concepts that proudly carry Kraft Heinz products. For example, when a guest orders a Big Smoke Burger Combo at any of Big Smoke Burger’s restaurants in Canada, Kraft Heinz Foodservice will donate $10 value of product to Food Banks Canada.
Sourcing product from Kraft Heinz Foodservice offers a win all-around. From the guest’s perspective, there’s a feel-good effect from ordering a menu item that positively impacts their local community. From an operator’s perspective, meaningful promotions like this one leave favourable impressions on their customer base.
Kraft Heinz is a proud partner of Food Banks Canada. Over the past four years alone, Kraft Heinz has provided over $30 million in food donations to communities in need across Canada.
