Kraft Heinz has called Canada home for more than 100 years. With brands your guests love, we’re proud to say that families have been enjoying Kraft Heinz products for generations. Our company understands the power of food to connect people, and the importance of nurturing the communities where we live, work and play. Our roots are strong in neighbourhoods across Canada—from the local hockey arenas we support to the community members we employ.
WHERE WE LIVE: Kraft Heinz employs more than 1,400 people across the country. Our manufacturing facilities in Montreal produce some of Canada’s most beloved brands, including Kraft Peanut Butter, Renée’s Dressing, Kraft Dinner Mac & Cheese and Philadelphia Cream Cheese. Kraft Heinz has produced more than $412M worth of products in Leamington, Ontario, and more than 500 employees work on producing Kraft Heinz products there every day. In 2018 alone, Kraft Heinz used 180 million tonnes of Leamington tomatoes to produce Heinz Tomato Juice, Classico Pasta Sauce and our iconic Heinz Beans.
COMMUNITIES WHERE WE PLAY: Nothing builds community like good, clean fun. That’s why Kraft Heinz is proud of its two initiatives aimed at helping kids and families across Canada go out and play. Now in its 10th year, Kraft Heinz Project Play has awarded over $2.9M to 77 communities across Canada. And Kraft Hockeyville cultivates the spirit of hockey, proudly awarding over $3.5M to 81 communities nationwide to help improve local hockey arenas.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT: An important part of community is serving those in need. In the last five years alone, Kraft Heinz has contributed more than $3.5M in cash funding to Canadian food banks, along with providing more than $55M in food donations.
