Mini Caesar Bites

Ingredients

30 slices Whole wheat baguettes (20 inch), cut into 1/2-inch-thck slices
1/4 cups Kraft Calorie-Wise Creamy Caesar Dressing
1 cups Lemon zest
1/2 cups Freshly ground black pepper
1 qt. Romaine lettuce, finely shredded
1/4 cups Kraft Shredded Parmesan
2 slices Reduced-sodium bacon, cooked, crumbled

Instructions

Preparation Steps
  • Place
    Baguette slices in single layer in sheet pan. Bake in 425ºF (220ºC) standard oven 10 to 12 min. or until golden brown, turning after 5 min. Cool.
  • Mix
    Dressing, lemon zest and pepper. Refrigerate up to 24 hours.
  • For each serving:
  • Toss
    3/4 oz. (20 g) lettuce with 1/4 oz. (7 g) dressing; spoon evenly onto 3 toast slices. Top each with 1/4 tsp. (1 mL) bacon and 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) cheese.
