Grilled Chicken Berry Balsamic Salad

Dressing is combined with brown sugar to prepare oven-candied pecans for a crunchy salad garnish.

Ingredients

Candied Pecans
1/4 cups Coarsely chopped pecans
1 cups Packed brown sugar
1-1/2 cups Pure Kraft Refrigerated Berry Balsamic Dressing
Salad
1 qt. Tightly packed torn mixed salad greens
1 qt. Chopped English cucumbers
1/4 cups Sliced red onions
1/4 cups Dried cranberries
12 lb. Grilled chicken breasts, sliced

Instructions

Preparation Steps
  • Candied Pecans:
  • Combine
    Nuts, sugar and dressing in bowl. Spread in single layer on sheet pan.
  • Bake
    In 350°F (180°C) standard oven 5 to 6 min. or until caramelized. Cool completely.
  • For each serving:
  • Toss
    2 oz. (60 g) salad greens, 1/4 cup (50 mL) cucumbers, and 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) each onions, cranberries, and dressing in medium bowl. Arrange on serving plate.
  • Top
    With 3 oz. (85 g) chicken and 1/3 oz. (10 g) Candied Pecans.
